termstow is a classified directory that connects UK university students looking for short-term storage with students who have spare space near campus. termstow is a passive information-society service intermediary. We do not arrange, contract, manage, inspect, or guarantee any storage, and we do not process or facilitate peer-to-peer payments between students.

You must hold a valid and active .ac.uk university email address to create an account. By signing up, you confirm you are enrolled at a UK university and are at least 18 years old.

Hosts are solely responsible for ensuring their listing complies with their local tenancy agreement, student accommodation handbook, and university framework. By publishing a listing, hosts certify this compliance. termstow accepts no liability for any breach of a housing or accommodation contract.

termstow does not process or arbitrate payments between storers and hosts. Any payment, deposit, or financial arrangement is made directly between the two parties offline (cash, bank transfer, etc.). termstow is not a party to that arrangement and cannot issue refunds for peer-to-peer transactions.

Certain items may not be stored through any termstow listing. See the Prohibited Items page for the full list. Users who list or store prohibited items assume sole civil and criminal liability.

termstow is an introduction directory only. We do not take custody, possession, or control of stored items. We make no representation, warranty, or guarantee regarding the safety, suitability, security, or availability of any listed space or the conduct of any user. To the fullest extent permitted by law, termstow is not liable for any personal injury, loss, property damage, theft, or dispute arising from a storage arrangement made through the directory.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove accounts that violate these terms, list prohibited items, receive user reports, or engage in fraudulent or harmful conduct. You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
